His views of Rome are riveting, but I would add one or two items from his "PRIGIONI", to get an all-round picture of this visionary artist. If this word is a gaol, as certain gnostics would have us to believe, then Piranesi is perhaps its most faithful photographer. Best M. Piranesi is definitely a great pick!
